This piece is part of my investigation into printing onto a traditional Buon Fresco surface with raw pigment using a modified screen printing process. Printing directly onto a wet fresco surface with raw pigment has been a dynamic challenge to confront. The image was created using traditional/naturally occurring earth pigments within an experimental CMYK process.
